Software

The aiCAMstir website uses the MediaWiki Software 1.35.1. The current version is displayed on Special:Version.

The MediaWiki software is used by tens of thousands of websites and thousands of companies and organizations. It powers Wikipedia and also the aiCAMstir website. MediaWiki helps to collect and organize knowledge and make it available to people. It's powerful, multilingual, free and open, extensible, customizable, reliable, and free of charge.

As MediaWiki was developed specifically for Wikipedia, it is also a very powerful software designed for pages that are clicked thousands of times per day. It is a resilient and scalable software with many extensions that can be implemented on the aiCAMstir website.
